A talk followed by a three days [24, 25 & 26 October 2016] Basic Design Workshop will be conducted by an eminent artist Balan Nambiar is organized by BEADS. The event is one of its kind in Mangalore and it will generate high value creative learning for students and faculty members. Interested students of Architecture, Faculty members, Professionals & individuals are warmly welcomed for the event at BEADS.
About the Artist: Balan Nambiar is a painter, sculptor, enamellist, photographer and an academic researcher. The award winning artist has exhibit his works nationally and internationally. The Government of Kerala awarded him the 2014 Raja Ravi VermaPuraskaram, the highest state award in the art category, in 2015.
He has been chairman of the Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi, member of the General Council of Lalit Kala Academy, member of the Central Advisory Board on Culture, India.
