MP Nalin Kumar Kateel threatens to arson his constituency

Mangalore (Konaje), january 1 : Member of Parliament Nalin Kumar Kateel on Sunday has threatened of "arsoning Dakshina Kannada District" if the accused in the murder of one Kartik Raj is not arrested. Nalin Kumar Kateel is the BJP Member of Parliament from Dakshina Kannada Loksabha Constituency in Karnataka.

He was speaking at the protest held in front of Konaje Police station in Mangalore demanding arrest of Kartik raj, son of former taluk panchayat vice president Umesh Ganiga. Hindu Hitharakshana Vedike had organized the protest.

Kartik raj was murdered near Konaje Police station on the morning of 22nd October (2016).

" these days ,many incidents including the murder of Kartik raj are happening in the areas coming under Mangalore Assembly constituency. But the police have failed to nab the culprits. Government has also failed to contain violence. MLA of this area ( State Food and civil supplies minister UT Khader) is directly responsible for these criminal activities. If Kartik raj murder accused are not arresed within 10 days, we will stage a protest" , Nalin said. He also accused that the terrorist activities of Kerala have spread to this (Mangalore) area. 

A silent march was held from Pajeer to Konaje police station before the protest. former MLA Jayaram shetty, Mangalore Assembly BJP president Santhosh Kumar Boliyar , Convenor of  Vitla Hindu Jagaran Vedike  Ganadhiraja Kedilaya , BJP leaders Chandrahas Ucchil, Dhanalakshmi Gatti,  Pajeer Grama Panchayat President and congress leader  Seetharam Shetty, Satish Acharya, Sesappa tailor were present.
