Govt committed to encourage investments that guarantee jobs: CM

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah inaugurated the  Phase Four Building of MFAR Manyata Tech Park near Nagavara in Bengaluru on January 21, Saturday. State Ministers  K J George, U T Khader, Roshan Baig, Ramanatha Rai, Pramod Madhwaraj,  MFAR Chairman Dr. P. Mohamad Ali, Directors Mohiddin Rizwan, Mohiddin Ali, MLAs N A Harris, Bhairathi Suresh, Y. Abdulla Kunhi Yenepoya Group and others were present.

Bengaluru, Jan 23: "The state government is firmly committed to encourage investments from industrialists  in any sector that would guarantee jobs for our youth," said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

He was speaking after inaugurating the Phase Four Building of MFAR Manyata Tech Park at the Manyata Embassy Park in Bengaluru on January 21, Saturday.

"The state is encouraging investments not only in Bengaluru, but also in Tier-2 cities like Mysuru, Mangaluru, Hubballi-Dharwad Belagavi and Kalaburgi  with the above commitment in mind," said Siddaramaiah.

Stating that he felt immensely proud on Bengaluru having been adjudged as the Most Dynamic City in the world overtaking even the Silicon Valley of the United States, the CM said this has amply illustrated the fact that Bengaluru has the ability to adapt to technological changes, absorb rapid population growth and strengthen global connectivity.

Pointing out that the state-of-the-art facility at MFAR  would provide jobs to over 10,000 people,  Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had a word of praise for  MFAR Chief Dr Mohamad Ali whose diligence, dedication and commitment as an NRI was responsible for the   creation of MFAR.

"Dr. Mohamad Ali  is the first Indian from Oman to be awarded the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman  in 2004 by the Government of India and he has also been conferred the Oman Civil Order by the Sultanate of Oman apart from Honorary Doctorate of Science by the Caledonian University of Glasgow," said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

The CM also called upon all investors to emulate the worthy example of Dr Ali so that the Brand Bengaluru is sustained for years to come without the slightest dent to its brilliant credentials.

Claiming that the state has a very conducive atmosphere for investments, the CM said there was a need to  develop basic infrastructure and technology keeping in pace with the  further growth of population of Bengaluru in the next few decades.
