We are wrought with problems, but not bereft of solutions : Archbishop Dr. Bernard Moras

Bengaluru, jan 26: Archbishop Dr. Bernard Moras who religious head of over 4,31,000 catholics in Bangalore Archdiocese inaugurated Republic Day at Archbishops House by offering prayers for the nation and its political leaders. 

In his message to the gathering he said, "The nation may be wrought with problems but we are never bereft of solutions.We are an admirable nation and must be proud of the nation's progress. It is my earnest prayer that all people live in peace with each other and we constantly seek ways and means to unite together as peoples of this great nation".

After hoisting the Indian Flag  in the presence of staff and police personnel present, the Archbishop said, "We must take pride in belonging to a nation with such a multi-cultural and multi-religious heritage. We must do all in our own capacities to promote an ambience of peace wherever we are. It is also binding upon each of us as responsible citizens of this country to ensure the protection of Human rights, especially the safety of women and children"

Also present for the function was senior-most priest of the Archdiocese Fr. N C Joseph (Born 1924).
