Karnataka Bank signs MOU with Tirth Agro Tech for Agri Mechanisation

Mangaluru , Jan.26 :  Karnataka Bank Ltd., a premier private Sector Bank entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the leading Agricultural Equipment / implements manufacturer M/s Tirth Agro Technology Pvt Ltd, Rajkot. today at Mangaluru, for financing to farmers for Agri Mechanisation.

On this occasion Shri P Jayarama Bhat, Managing Director & CEO of the Bank told that  the MoU aims to work together to promote agriculture mechanization in India by utilizing the immense experience the Bank has in Agricultural finance through its vast network of Branches across India and the expertise of the Company in the field of manufacturing of high quality Agriculture Equipments and implements.

The MOU aims to establish a platform to form a relation on co operation between the two in identifying farmers buying the Agricultural implements & equipments and financing them by the Bank on its terms. This will lead to further enhancement of Agricultural finance to the farmers, particularly Small and Marginal farmers, he said .
