MOU signed between Aliya and Al-Qasimi University

Aliya institute in Kasaragod is celebrating platinum jubilee. As a part of this program a meeting was held in Dubai with the old students and the well wishers under the presidentship of Dr C.P Habeeb Rahman. The chief guest of the program was Dr rashid Salih, Vice-Chancellor of Al-Qasimi University, Sharjah. MOU was signed by Dr C.P Habeeb Rahman and Dr Rashid Salih for mutual co-operation and support between Aliya and Sharjah University. It is also proposed to start Aliya Ai-Beruni Indo-Arab cultural exchange. Al-Beruni was an Arab scientist who travelled to India and remained thirteen years and wrote a book in Arabic about Hindu faith, culture, practices in a very scientific and objective way 800 years ago promoting cultural relationship with India and Arabs. Dr C.P Habeeb Rahman stressed the importance of promoting Arabic language and the role Aliya played for the last 75 years. The Vice-Chancellor, Dr Rashid Salih is seen along with Dr C.P Habeeb Rahman
