Reorient & Reposition with the Digital Revolution: Anand Talwar

Moodabidri, march.27: The Annual Day of Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering, (MITE) Moodabidri was celebrated on the 25th evening at its glittering Campus. Mr. Anand Talwar, Chief Human Resources officer, ITC Infotech India Ltd, Bangalore was the Chief Guest for the Program. In his address to the students, Mr. Anand Talwar spoke about acquainting with the changing Digital Revolution. He also spoke about the adaptability required for students while working in Industry. 

Mr. Anand in his address applauded the Institute for doing the ‘Right things’ and also being ahead of what the Industry is looking for. In the changing times, a fusion of Technology and Business is happening. The current era is witnessing a Digital Revolution, and he urged the students to Reorient & Reposition with the ongoing ‘Digital Revolution’. 

Mr. Rajesh chouta, President, Rajalaxmi Education Trust (R), Mangalore presided over the function. In his presidential address. Mr. Rajesh Chouta mentioned about the direction in which MITE needs to go forward. He referred to the fact that – by winning in many National level Competitions of highest levelm students of MITE have shown their worth. With which we have achieved the path of success in the last ten years. The coming ten years will be oriented majorly towards Research and Patents.  He also made a special mention about the alumni members, who had came in big numbers to the program, as the ambassadors of MITE. 

Dr. G L Easwara Prasad, Principal presented a brief Annual report of the College for the year 2016-17. Dr. C R Rajshekar, Vice Principal, welcomed the gathering. Dr. Nagesh H R, Head, Dept of CSE, proposed the vote of thanks. Prof. G R Rai, Advisor, MITE and Mrs. Savitha Chouta, Vice Chairman, Rajalaxmi Education Trust were also present for the Program. Ms. Ayesha, anchored the program. Later after the function, the students of MITE gave a colourful cultural program of two hours, which was anchored by Ms. Fazila and Ms. Anisha.
