Inter-College Technical Fest “ENIGMA 2k17” at Bearys Institute of Technology

Mangalore: Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT), Mangalore conducted Inter-College technical fest “ENIGMA 2k17” on 7th April 2017 with the objective of giving platform for the students to showcase their talents in the field of Engineering and Technology.

Mr. Mazhar S. Beary, Trustee, Bearys Academy of Learning inaugurated the programme. He stressed the importance of cocurricular activities in the overall development of students.

Dr. Abdul Kareem, Principal, BIT presided over the function. He opined that the technical fests will motivate the students to come up with innovative ideas and inventions to solve most daunting challenges of the society. The function was attended by Prof. Bhavesh Mehta, Principal, Bearys Enviro-Architecture Design School, Dr. Aziz Musthafa, Director, BIT polytechnic and heads of the departments of BIT.

There were 12 technical events including Robothon, Mecharts organized by different departments of BIT as part of the fest. More than 300 students from 18 Engineering colleges of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts participated with great enthusiasm. The winners were felicitated by Mr. Mazhar S Beary, Principals of Bearys group of Institutions and heads of the departments of BIT.
