Immoral brigade tries to defame female student activist from Mangaluru

Mangaluru: Close on the heels of a college student from Moodigere ending her life after  some unscrupulous elements threatened her and even tried to defame her by circulating her photo on social sites, another similar incident of trying to defame a female student has been reported from Mangaluru.

Madhuri Bolar, an M.Com student at the Government Women's First Grade College at Carstreet, who also happens to be  the   District Secretary of the Student Federation Of India has lodged a complaint with the City Police Commissioner  alleging that she was being linked to a Muslim youth by misusing  a Facebook group photo clicked with classmates   and circulating it in WhatsApp.

"The group photo  with   colleagues of the student movement namely Ganesh Bolar, Suhas Adiga and Hamza Kinya was uploaded on Facebook. But  since some days this photo is being circulated on WhatsApp by some activists of a Hindu outfit  who are involved in a malicious propaganda that Hindu girls  talking to  Muslim  boys  was leading to Love Jihad."
She also alleged that  the  photo with the message that  Hamza  who is seen with Hindu girls should be kept on watched and taught  lesson.

Madhuri has said that she was suffering mental agony and also fears this may affect her studies. She also said even her parents are worried over the development. She has  urged the Police to initiate stern action  against those resorting to such malicious propaganda.
