2 women, 3 yr kid fatally knocked down by train near Manjeshwar station

Manjeshwar:  In an incident that has left Manjeshwar grief-stricken, two women and a three year old child lost their lives tragically when a train hit them while they were trying to cross the railway track near Manjeshwar Railway Station on January 31, Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased have been identified as Amina (45), Ayisha (43), and Thamil, the three year old son of Ayisha.

The engine of the train which was heading towards Kasargod from Mangaluru knocked down the three.

A case has been registered in Manjeshwar Police Station.
