ಈ ವರ್ಷದ ಐಪಿಎಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಬಾರಿ ಶೂನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಔಟಾಗಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರಾಟ್ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನು ಗೊತ್ತೇ?
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ಬ್ಯಾಟರ್ ಆಗಿ ವಿರಾಟ್ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ವೃತ್ತಿಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರೀ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಸಾಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ, ಕಳೆದ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 33 ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ಶತಕದ ಬರ ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ವರ್ಷದ ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಪ್ರೀಮಿಯರ್ ಲೀಗ್ (ಐಪಿಎಲ್) ನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು ಮೂರು ಬಾರಿ ಗೋಲ್ಡನ್ ಡಕ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಔಟಾಗುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಹಿನ್ನಡೆ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ವರ್ಷದ ಐಪಿಎಲ್ ಗಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಐಪಿಎಲ್ ವೃತ್ತಿಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ಕೇವಲ ಮೂರು ಬಾರಿ ಶೂನ್ಯ ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ರಾಯಲ್ ಚಾಲೆಂಜರ್ಸ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು (ಆರ್‌ಸಿಬಿ) ಗಾಗಿ ಕಂಟೆಂಟ್ ಕ್ರಿಯೇಟರ್ ದಾನಿಶ್ ಸೇಟ್ ಚಿತ್ರಿಸಿದ ಪಾತ್ರವಾದ 'ಮಿಸ್ಟರ್ ನಾಗ್ಸ್' ಅವರೊಂದಿಗಿನ ಸಂವಾದದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಸಂವಾದದ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಬಾರಿ ಶೂನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಔಟಾಗಿರುವ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿಯವರನ್ನು ಸೇಟ್ ತಮಾಷೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಸಹಜವಾಗಿ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ಈ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಖಾರವಾಗಿಯೇ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದರು.
"ಎರಡು ಬಾರಿ ತಾನೆದುರಿಸಿದ ಮೊದಲ ಎಸೆತದಲ್ಲೆ ಔಟಾದೆ. ಸತತ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಬಾರಿ ಶೂನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಔಟಾದ ನಂತರ ನಿಮ್ಮಂತೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಅಸಹಾಯಕರಾಗಿರುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಅರಿತುಕೊಂಡೆ" ಎಂದು ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಸೇಟ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಛೇಡಿಸಿದರು.
" ನನ್ನ ವೃತ್ತಿಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ಇದು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ನಾನು ಮುಗುಳ್ನಗುತ್ತಿರುವೆ. ನಾನು ಈಗ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ನನಗೆ ಭಾಸವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ" ಎಂದು ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
