ಹೊಸದಿಲ್ಲಿ,ಆ.24: ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಆಯೋಗವು ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದ ಗಲಭೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದವರನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಲು ಈಶಾನ್ಯ ದಿಲ್ಲಿ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಮತದಾರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಲು ಮಾರ್ಚ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ದಿಲ್ಲಿಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಚುನಾವಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ (ಸಿಇಒ) ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಪತ್ರವೊಂದು ಬಹಿರಂಗಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆರ್ ಟಿಐ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರೊಬ್ಬರು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮಾ.12ರಂದು ಆಯೋಗವು ದಿಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಇಒಗೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದ ಪತ್ರದ ಫೋಟೊವನ್ನು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತ ಸಾಕೇತ್ ಗೋಖಲೆ ಅವರು ಸೋಮವಾರ ಟ್ವಿಟರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇರ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಆಯೋಗವು ತನ್ನದೇ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲಂಘಿಸಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು 2020 ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ ಗಲಭೆಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಈಶಾನ್ಯ ದಿಲ್ಲಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಳಾಸಗಳನ್ನು ದಿಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಗೋಖಲೆ ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮಾ.6ರಂದು ಸಿಇಒ ಪತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ಉತ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಗವು, ಹಾಲಿ ನೀತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಪಾಠದಂತೆ ಮತದಾರರ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಸಿಸಿಟಿವಿ ಫೂಟೇಜ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದ್ದ ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಿಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ತಾಳೆ ಹಾಕಲು ಈಶಾನ್ಯ ದಿಲ್ಲಿಯ ಫೋಟೋ ಸಹಿತ ಮತದಾರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ದಿಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಮನವಿಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ ಸಿಇಒ ತನ್ನ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನಿಖಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತದಾರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲು ಆಯೋಗವು ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಿತ್ತು. ಮತದಾರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿಇಒ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಪೊಲಿಸರಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವು ಮತದಾರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಬಾರದು ಎಂಬ ಆಯೋಗದ ನಿಯಮಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಆಯೋಗದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯೋರ್ವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
