ಹೆಲಿಕಾಪ್ಟರ್ ಪತನದಿಂದ ಜನರಲ್ ರಾವತ್ ಮೃತ್ಯು: ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಗಣ್ಯರಿಂದ ಸಂತಾಪ
ನವದೆಹಲಿ: ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ಊಟಿ ಕೂನೂರ್ ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ಹೆಲಿಕಾಪ್ಟರ್ ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಪಡೆಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಜನರಲ್ ಬಿಪಿನ್ ರಾವತ್, ಅವರ ಪತ್ನಿ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ 11 ಮಂದಿ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ರಾಮನಾಥ್ ಕೋವಿಂದ್, ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವ ಅಮಿತ್ ಶಾ ಬುಧವಾರ ಸಂತಾಪ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಹೆಲಿಕಾಪ್ಟರ್ ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ 13 ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಸೇನಾ ಜನರಲ್ ರಾವತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಪತ್ನಿ ಮಧುಲಿಕಾ ರಾವತ್ ಸೇರಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಾಯುಪಡೆ ಬುಧವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿದೆ.
"ಜನರಲ್ ಬಿಪಿನ್ ರಾವತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಪತ್ನಿ ಮಧುಲಿಕಾ ಜಿ ಅವರ ಅಕಾಲಿಕ ನಿಧನದಿಂದ ನಾನು ಆಘಾತಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಮತ್ತು ದುಃಖಿತನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವು ತನ್ನ ವೀರ ಪುತ್ರರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಮಾತೃಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಅವರ ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಶಕಗಳ ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಸೇವೆಯು ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ ಶೌರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ವೀರತೆಯಿಂದ ಗುರುತಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಂತಾಪ," ಎಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
"ಹೆಲಿಕಾಪ್ಟರ್ ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿನ ಜೀವಹಾನಿಯ ಕುರಿತು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಾಗ ನನಗೆ ಅತೀವ ನೋವಾಗಿದೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವಾಗ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾಂಜಲಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ನಾನು ನಾಗರಿಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ದುಃಖತಪ್ತ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಸಂತಾಪ" ಎಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಕೋವಿಂದ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
