ಪ್ರಣಬ್ ಮುಖರ್ಜಿ ಆತ್ಮಕಥೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಕುರಿತು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ನಡುವೆ ಟ್ವಿಟರ್ ನಲ್ಲೇ ಜಗಳ!
ಹೊಸದಿಲ್ಲಿ,ಡಿ.15: ಭಾರತದ ಮಾಜಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಪ್ರಣಬ್ ಮುಖರ್ಜಿಯುವರ ಆತ್ಮಕಥೆಯ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಭಾಗದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯ ಕುರಿತಾದಂತೆ ಪ್ರಣಬ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಅಭಿಜಿತ್ ಮುಖರ್ಜಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶರ್ಮಿಷ್ಠಾ ಮುಖರ್ಜಿ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಟ್ವಿಟರ್ ನಲ್ಲೇ ಕಾದಾಟ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರಣಬ್ ಮುಖರ್ಜಿಯವರ ಆತ್ಮಕಥೆಯ ಮೂರು ಭಾಗಗಳು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಇದೀಗ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಭಾಗವಾದ ‘ದಿ ಪ್ರೆಸಿಡೆನ್ಷಿಯಲ್ ಇಯರ್ಸ್ 2012-2017 ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ರೂಪಾ ಪಬ್ಲಿಕೇಷನ್ಸ್ ಕಳೆದ ವಾರ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಣಬ್ ಪುತ್ರ ಅಭಿಜಿತ್ ಮುಖರ್ಜಿ, ಈ ಸಂಪುಟವನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮುಂಚೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಕರು ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಅನುಮತಿ ಪಡೆದೇ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯಬೇಕು, ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ಬದುಕಿದ್ದರೂ ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಎಂದಿದ್ದರು.
ಈ ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಗೆ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಣಬ್ ಪುತ್ರಿ ಶರ್ಮಿಷ್ಠಾ ಮುಖರ್ಜಿ, “ನೀನು ಈ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಗು ತೂರಿಸುವ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆ ರೋಗಪೀಡಿತರಾಗುವ ಮುಂಚೆಯೇ ಈ ಸಂಪುಟವನ್ನು ಬರೆದು ಪೂರ್ತಿಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಇನ್ನು, ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ ಹೆಸರು ‘ದಿ ಪ್ರೆಸಿಡೆನ್ಷಿಯಲ್ ಇಯರ್’ ಎಂದಿದೆಯೇ ಹೊರತು ‘ದಿ ಪ್ರೆಸಿಡೆನ್ಷಿಯಲ್ ಮೆಮ್ವಾ’ (Presidential Memoir) ಎಂದಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Since my father is no more , I being his son want to go through the contents of the final copy of the book before it's publication as I believe , had my father been alive today , he too would have done the same.

I, daughter of the author of the memoir ‘The Presidential Years’, request my brother @ABHIJIT_LS not to create any unnecessary hurdles in publication of the last book written by our father. He completed the manuscript before he fell sick 1/3

The final draft contains my dads’ hand written notes & comments that have been strictly adhered to. The views expressed by him are his own & no one should try to stop it from being published for any cheap publicity. That would be the greatest disservice to our departed father 2/2
