ಬ್ರಿಸ್ಬೇನ್,ಜ.19: 1988 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ ವಿವಿಯನ್ ರಿಚರ್ಡ್ಸ್ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ವೆಸ್ಟ್ ಇಂಡೀಸ್ ತಂಡವು ಗಬ್ಬಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸ್ಟ್ರೇಲಿಯಾ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಇದೀಗ ಆ ಪಂದ್ಯಾಟ ನಡೆದು 33 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಅನನುಭವಿ ಭಾರತ ತಂಡವು ಆಸ್ಟ್ರೇಲಿಯಾ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಮಣಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಜಯವನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ ಭಾರತ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಪ್ರಮುಖರು ಶುಭಾಶಯ ಕೋರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
