ಶ್ರೀನಗರ,ಸೆ.12: ಜಮ್ಮು-ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರದ ಶ್ರೀನಗರದಲ್ಲಿಯ ಖನ್ಯಾರ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ರವಿವಾರ ಶಂಕಿತ ಉಗ್ರನೋರ್ವ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯೊಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಸಮೀಪದಿಂದ ಗುಂಡು ಹಾರಿಸಿ ಹತ್ಯೆ ಗೈದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
ಮೃತರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೊಬೇಷನರಿ ಸಬ್-ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಅರ್ಷಿದ್ ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ 1:35ರ ಸುಮಾರಿಗೆ ಖನ್ಯಾರ್ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಬಳಿ ದಾಳಿಕೋರ ಹಿಂದಿನಿಂದ ಎರಡು ಬಾರಿ ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಗುಂಡು ಹಾರಿಸಿದ್ದ ದೃಶ್ಯ ಸಿಸಿಟಿವಿ ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ. ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ಬಳಿಕ ಶೇರ್ ಎ ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಮೆಡಿಕಲ್ ಸಯನ್ಸ್
ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊನೆಯುಸಿರೆಳೆದರು.
ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ಅವರ ಹತ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಕಾನ್ಫರೆನ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಜಮ್ಮು-ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಘಟಕ ಖಂಡಿಸಿವೆ.
