ದುಬೈ: ರವಿವಾರ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನದ ವಿರುದ್ಧದ ಟಿ-20 ವಿಶ್ವ ಕಪ್ ಪಂದ್ಯದ ಆರಂಭದ ಮುನ್ನ ಅಮೆರಿಕಾದ `ಬ್ಲ್ಯಾಕ್ ಲೈವ್ಸ್ ಮ್ಯಾಟರ್ಸ್' ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರಾಟ್ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಟೀಮ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಆಟಗಾರರು ಮೊಣಕಾಲೂರಿ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ, ಪಾಕ್ ಆಟಗಾರರು ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಎದೆ ಮೇಲಿಟ್ಟು ಬೆಂಬಲ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಆದರೆ ಈ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತವು ಸೋಲುಂಡಿದ್ದರೂ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಪ್ರಿಯರು ಆಟದ ನಂತರದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಆತಂಕಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಟೀಮ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಆಟಗಾರ ಮುಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಶಮಿ ಅವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವೇಷಕಾರಿ ಪೋಸ್ಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಹಲವರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಇದು ಟ್ವಿಟರಿಗರ ಅಸಮಾದಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು. 'ಬ್ಲ್ಯಾಕ್ ಲೈವ್ಸ್ ಮ್ಯಾಟರ್ಸ್'ಗೆ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ ತಮ್ಮ ತಂಡದ ಆಟಗಾರನಿಗೂ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಸೂಚಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹಲವು ಟ್ವಿಟರಿಗರು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧವೂ ಟೀಮ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಆಟಗಾರರು ದನಿಯೆತ್ತಬೇಕೆಂದೂ ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
"ಭಾರತೀಯ ಆಟಗಾರರು 'ಬ್ಲ್ಯಾಕ್ ಲೈವ್ಸ್ ಮ್ಯಾಟರ್ಸ್'ಗೆ ಮೊಣಕಾಲೂರಿ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಆದರೆ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ಧಾರೆ,'' ಎಂದು ಟ್ವಿಟರಿಗರೊಬ್ಬರು ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
"ಟೀಮ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ, ನಿಮ್ಮದೇ ತಂಡದ ಆಟಗಾರರಾದ ಮುಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಶಮಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಿ ಮೊಣಕಾಲೂರಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಬಹುದಲ್ಲವೇ?,'' ಎಂದು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ತಮ್ಮ ತಂಡದ ಆಟಗಾರ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ಮೇಲೆ ಜಾತಿ ನಿಂದನೆಗೈದುದನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿ ಭಾರತದ ಹಾಕಿ ತಂಡದ ನಾಯಕಿ ರಾಣಿ ರಾಮ್‍ಪಾಲ್ ಅವರು ಆಕೆಗೆ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಹಲವರು ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ನೆನಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
