ಉ.ಪ್ರ ಸರಕಾರದ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ದ್ವೇಷದ ಜಾಹೀರಾತು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್: ಲೇಖಕರಿಂದ ತೀವ್ರ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ

ಹೊಸದಿಲ್ಲಿ: ದೇಶದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ದಿನಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ‘ದಿ ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್' ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಸರಕಾರದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಿತ 'ಇಸ್ಲಾಮೋಫೋಬಿಕ್' ಮುಖಪುಟ ಜಾಹೀರಾತಿಗಾಗಿ ಟೀಕೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ತಾಣದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ನಂತರ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಗಲಭೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಉತ್ತರಪ್ರದೇಶ ಸರಕಾರದ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಜಾಹೀರಾತು ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
ʼ2017ರ ಮೊದಲುʼ ಎಂದು ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಜಾಹೀರಾತಿನ ಒಂದು ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ʼಸುರ್ಮಾʼವನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಸುತ್ತ ಹಾಕಿರುವ ಗಡ್ಡಧಾರಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಗಲಭೆಕೋರನಂತೆ ಚಿತ್ರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. 2017ರ ಬಳಿಕ ಎಂದು ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಲಭೆಕೋರ ಪಾಠವನ್ನು ಕಲಿತಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಜಾಹೀರಾತು ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ.
ಈ ಎರಡು ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ‘ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ’ ಎಂದು ಶೀರ್ಷಿಕೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ದಿನಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯ ಅಂಕಣಗಾರರು ಹಾಗೂ ಓದುಗರು ವಿವಾದಾತ್ಮಕ ಜಾಹೀರಾತನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿರುವ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯ ನಡೆಯನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯ ಅಂಕಣಕಾರರಾಗಿರುವ ದಿಲ್ಲಿಯ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರೊಫೆಸರ್ ಅಪೂರ್ವಾನಂದ್ ಅವರು 'ಮುಕ್ತ ಇಸ್ಲಾಮೋಫೋಬಿಕ್ ಪ್ರಚಾರ'ದಿಂದ ಆಘಾತಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
'ಬರಹಗಾರ' ಮತ್ತು 'ಖರೀದಿದಾರ'ನಾಗಿ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಂಟು ಕಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದರು.
“ಈ ಬಹಿರಂಗ ಇಸ್ಲಾಮೋಫೋಬಿಕ್ ಪ್ರಚಾರವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಆಘಾತವಾಯಿತು. ಸಂಪಾದಕರು ಜಾತ್ಯತೀತರು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಯಿರಿ ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ತರ್ಕಬದ್ಧಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾನು ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯ ಬರಹಗಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಖರೀದಿದಾರನಾಗಿ ಅದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧವನ್ನು ಕಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮೂಲಕ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಂದಾಯಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ”ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಎಕ್ಸ್ ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಯಮಿತ ಕೊಡುಗೆದಾರರಾದ ಅರ್ಥಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಜ್ಞೆ ಜಯತಿ ಘೋಷ್ ಅವರು ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಂಟು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ದಿನಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯು ಉತ್ತರಪ್ರದೇಶ ಸರಕಾರದ ಜಾಹೀರಾತನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮೊದಲ ಪುಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ದ್ವೇಷವನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಎಕ್ಸ್ ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ನ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ಕೊಡುಗೆದಾರ ಸಲೀಲ್ ತ್ರಿಪಾಠಿ ಅವರು ಜಾಹೀರಾತು ‘ಸದಭಿರುಚಿಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿಲ್ಲ' ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಇದು 2002 ರ ಗುಜರಾತ್ ಗಲಭೆಯ ನೈಜ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆಯೂ ಉತ್ತರಪ್ರದೇಶ ಸರಕಾರದ ಜಾಹೀರಾತನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಟೀಕೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿತ್ತು, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಗಾಳದ ಫ್ಲೈಓವರ್ ಅನ್ನು ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಜಾಹೀರಾತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿತ್ರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ತಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಕ್ಷಮೆಯಾಚಿಸಿತ್ತು.
