ಇಸ್ತಾಂಬುಲ್: ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಟರ್ಕಿ (Turkey) ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ತರ ಸಿರಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ (Syria) ನಡೆದ ಪ್ರಬಲ ಭೂಕಂಪನದಿಂದ (earthquake) ಉಂಟಾದ ಅಪಾರ ಸಾವು ನೋವು ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನೇ ತಲ್ಲಣಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ನಡುವೆ ಭೂಕಂಪದಿಂದ ಧರಾಶಾಹಿಯಾದ ಹಲವಾರು ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳ ಅವಶೇಷಗಳಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಲುಕಿಕೊಂಡವರಿಗಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯ ನಡುವೆ ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ಮನಕಲಕುವ ವಿದ್ಯಮಾನಗಳೂ ನಡೆದಿವೆ.
ಟರ್ಕಿಯ ಕಹರಮನ್ಮರಸ್‌ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಇಂತಹ ಒಂದು ಮನಕಲಕುವ ವಿದ್ಯಮಾನದ ಫೋಟೋ ಒಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ದುಃಖಪೀಡಿತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ತನ್ನ ನೆಲಸಮವಾದ ಮನೆಯ ಅವಶೇಷಗಳ ಪಕ್ಕ ಕುಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವಶೇಷಗಳಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮಂಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟ ತನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರಿಯ ಕೈ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ನಿರ್ಲಿಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದು ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಮೆಸುಟ್‌ ಹನ್ಸರ್‌ ಎಂಬ ಈ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ 15 ವರ್ಷದ ಪುತ್ರಿ ಗಾಢ ನಿದ್ದೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ಭೂಕಂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ಅವಶೇಷಗಳಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಮಂಚದ ಎರಡು ಕಾಲುಗಳು ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತವೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಂಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಒಂದು ಕೈಮಾತ್ರ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದನ್ನೇ ಹಿಡಿದು ತಂದೆ ಪರಿತಪಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರಣ ಎಂತಹ ಕಲ್ಲು ಹೃದಯದವರ ಕಣ್ಣಲ್ಲೂ ನೀರು ತರಿಸದೇ ಇರದು.
ಇದೇ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದೆಡೆ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಅವಶೇಷಗಳಡಿಯಿಂದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿ ಹೊರತೆಗೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಉತ್ತರ ಸಿರಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನವಜಾತ ಶಿಶುವನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
