ಟೆಸ್ಟ್ ಸರಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿಂಚಿದ ಆರು ಯುವ ಆಟಗಾರರಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಎಸ್ ಯು ವಿ ಉಡುಗೊರೆ: ಆನಂದ್ ಮಹಿಂದ್ರಾ ಘೋಷಣೆ
ಹೊಸದಿಲ್ಲಿ,ಜ.23: ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಆಸ್ಟ್ರೇಲಿಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಟೆಸ್ಟ್ ಸರಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದೇಶಿ ನೆಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ಗೆಲುವು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದ ಟೀಮ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಆಟಗಾರರು ಸ್ವದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ವಾಪಸಾದ ಸಂದರ್ಭ ಭರ್ಜರಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಆಟಗಾರರು ಪದೇ ಪದೇ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿರುವುದು, ಆಟಗಾರರ ಅಲಭ್ಯತೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ 4 ಪಂದ್ಯಗಳ ಟೆಸ್ಟ್ ಸರಣಿಯುದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಭಾರತವು ಆಡುವ 11ರ ಬಳಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು. ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ ಭಾರತ ತಂಡ ಸರಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು ಐವರು ಆಟಗಾರರಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿ ಆಡುವ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತ್ತು. ಆಟಗಾರರ ಗಾಯದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಡುವ 11ರ ಬಳಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ, ಅನನುಭವಿ ತಂಡದ ಹೊರತಾಗಿಯೂ ಭಾರತವು ಸರಣಿಯನ್ನು 2-1 ಅಂತರದಿಂದ ಗೆಲ್ಲುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮರ್ಥವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಆಸ್ಟ್ರೇಲಿಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊತ್ತ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿ ಟೆಸ್ಟ್ ಪಂದ್ಯವನ್ನಾಡಿ ಸವಾಲವನ್ನು ದಿಟ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಎದುರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಆಟಗಾರರಿಗೆ ಆರು ಕಾರುಗಳನ್ನು ಉಡುಗೊರೆ ನೀಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಉದ್ಯಮಿ ಆನಂದ್ ಮಹಿಂದ್ರಾ ಟ್ವಿಟರ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸರಣಿ ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಉದ್ಯಮಿ ಆನಂದ್ ಮಹಿಂದ್ರಾ ಅವರು, ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಕನಸು ಹಾಗೂ ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದುದನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯುವ ಆಟಗಾರರಾದ ಶಾರ್ದೂಲ್ ಠಾಕೂರ್, ಶುಭಮನ್ ಗಿಲ್, ಮುಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಸಿರಾಜ್, ನವದೀಪ್ ಸೈನಿ, ವಾಷಿಂಗ್ಟನ್ ಸುಂದರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಟಿ. ನಟರಾಜನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಟೆಸ್ಟ್ ಸರಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿರಾಜ್ ಅವರು 3 ಪಂದ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು 13 ವಿಕೆಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಭಾರತದ ಪರ ಗರಿಷ್ಠ ವಿಕೆಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು.
ಶಾರ್ದೂಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುಂದರ್ ಬ್ರಿಸ್ಬೇನ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಅಂತಿಮ ಟೆಸ್ಟ್ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ಯಾಟಿಂಗ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೌಲಿಂಗ್ ಎರಡರಲ್ಲೂ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ಅಮೋಘ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ಭಾರತ ಗಾಬಾ ಸ್ಟೇಡಿಯಂನಲ್ಲಿ 32 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಆಸ್ಟ್ರೇಲಿಯ ಕಾಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಅಜೇಯ ಗೆಲುವಿನ ದಾಖಲೆಯನ್ನು ಮುರಿದಿತ್ತು. ಶಾರ್ದೂಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುಂದರ್ 7ನೇ ವಿಕೆಟ್ ಗೆ 123 ರನ್ ಜೊತೆಯಾಟ ನಡೆಸಿ ಟೆಸ್ಟ್ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ್ದ 30 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಳೆಯ ದಾಖಲೆಯನ್ನು ಪುಡಿಗಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ಇದೇ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟರಾಜನ್ 78 ರನ್ ಗೆ 3 ವಿಕೆಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದರು.
