ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಯ ಕಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇವಿಎಂ ಸಾಗಾಟ; ಭುಗಿಲೆದ್ದ ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರ

ಗುವಾಹಟಿ: ಅಸ್ಸಾಂನಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುವಾರ ಎರಡನೇ ಹಂತದ ಮತದಾನ ಮುಗಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ ಮತದಾನ ಯಂತ್ರ(ಇವಿಎಂ)ವನ್ನು ಸಾಗಿಸಲು ಚುನಾವಣಾ ತಂಡವು ಖಾಸಗಿ ವಾಹನವನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವು ಅಸ್ಸಾಂನ ಬರಾಕ್ ವ್ಯಾಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಂದಿ ಹಾಡಿದೆ.
ಕರೀಮ್ ಗಂಜ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿರುವ ಕಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇವಿಎಂ ಸಾಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ವಿಷಯ ತಿಳಿದ ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಗರು ಕಾರನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುವರೆದಿದ್ದು, ಭಾರೀ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಮಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದ ಜನಸಮೂಹವನ್ನು ಚದುರಿಸಲು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಗಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಂಡು ಹಾರಿಸಿದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಲಾಠಿ ಚಾರ್ಜ್ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಅಸ್ಸಾಂನಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಮತದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ.77ರಷ್ಟು ಮತದಾನವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕೆಲವು ಕಡೆ ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರ ನಡೆದಿತ್ತು.
ಇವಿಎಂ ಸಾಗಿಸಲು ಬಳಸಿರುವ ವಾಹನವು ಕರೀಮ್ ಗಂಜ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಪಥಾರ್ಕಂಡಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮೂಲಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿವೆ. ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಯ ಓರ್ವ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಯು ಕಾರಿನ ಮಾಲಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು ಎಂದು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ವಾಹನವು ಸ್ಟ್ರಾಂಗ್ ರೂಮ್ ನತ್ತ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಗರು ವಾಹನದ ಗುರುತು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿ ಚಾಲಕನನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದರು. ಆಗ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಮುಂದಾದರು.
ಆಡಳಿತಾರೂಢ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಇವಿಎಂ ಕಬಳಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸಲು ಈ ಘಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಬಿಜೆಪಿಗೆ ಅಸ್ಸಾಂನಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆಲ್ಲಲು ಇರುವ ಏಕೈಕ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಇದು ಎಂದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕ ಗೌರವ್ ಗೊಗೊಯ್ ಟ್ವೀಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮತಗಳ ಧ್ರುವೀಕರಣ, ಮತಗಳ ಖರೀದಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿಎಎ ಕುರಿತು ದ್ವಂದ್ವ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ವಿಫಲವಾದ ಬಳಿಕ ಇವಿಎಂ ಕಳ್ಳತನ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಗೆ ಉಳಿದಿರುವ ಕೊನೆಯ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‍ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮೈತ್ರಿಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಎಐಯುಡಿಎಫ್ ಮುಖಂಡ ಬದ್ರುದ್ದೀನ್ ಅಜ್ಮಲ್ ಟ್ವೀಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
