ಕೋಲ್ಕತಾ : ಉತ್ತರಾಖಂಡದ ಹರಿದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಧರ್ಮ ಸಂಸದ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವೇಷ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದವರನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗೊಳಪಡಿಸುವಂತೆ ಹಿರಿಯ ನ್ಯಾಯವಾದಿ ಮಹೇಶ್ ಜೇಠ್ಮಲಾನಿ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಸರಕಾರವನ್ನು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಹಾಕಿದ ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಜೇಠ್ಮಲಾನಿ ಅವರು, ತನಗೆ ಹಿಂದುತ್ವವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇದೆಯಾದರೂ ಹರಿದ್ವಾರದ ಧರ್ಮ ಸಂಸದ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಲಾದ ಭಾಷಣ ಹಿಂದುತ್ವವನ್ನು ಬುಡಮೇಲು ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾನವಾದುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಕ್ರಿಮಿನಲ್ ಕಾನೂನಿನ ನೇರ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಡಾ. ರಮೇಶ್ ಯಶ್ವಂತ್ ಪ್ರಭು, ವರ್ಸಸ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ್ ಕಾಶಿನಾಥ್ ಕುಂಟೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರರ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿರಿಯ ನ್ಯಾಯವಾದಿ ದಿವಂಗತ ರಾಮ್ ಜೇಠ್ಮಲಾನಿ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದುತ್ವಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ವಾದಿಸಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿದರು. ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಪ್ರಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದುತ್ವವನ್ನು ಜೀವನ ವಿಧಾನ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಎತ್ತಿ ಹಿಡಿದಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು. ‘‘ಭ್ರಷ್ಟ ಆಚರಣೆ’ಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಾಂಬೆ ಉಚ್ಚ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಅನೂರ್ಜಿತಗೊಳಿಸಿರುವ ಎರಡು ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಮ್ ಜೇಠ್ಮಲಾನಿ ಅವರು ವಾದಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
