ಹೊಸದಿಲ್ಲಿ: ಉಡುಪಿ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಹಿಜಾಬ್‌ ಧರಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡದೇ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾತಿ ನಿರಾಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿರುವ ವಿಚಾರದ ಕುರಿತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಿಯ ಮಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಖಂಡನೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದೀಗ ನಟಿ ಸ್ವರಾ ಭಾಸ್ಕರ್ ಸಹಿತ ಹಲವಾರು ಮಂದಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
"ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂವಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರ ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುವ ಹಕ್ಕನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ವಿನಮ್ರವಾಗಿ ತಮಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ! ಸಾಂವಿಧಾನಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಹಿಡಿಯಿರಿ!" ಎಂದು ಸ್ವರಾ ಭಾಸ್ಕರ್ ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
