ಅಹ್ಮದಾಬಾದ್: ಗುಜರಾತ್ ನ ಮೊರ್ಬಿ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹಲ್ವಾಡ್ ಜಿಐಡಿಸಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪ್ಪು ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯ ಗೋಡೆ ಕುಸಿದು ಕನಿಷ್ಠ 12 ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ20 ಮಂದಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡ ಘಟನೆ ಬುಧವಾರ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಘಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಮೂವರು ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಶಂಕೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರ ಸಾವಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಟ್ವಿಟರ್‌ ಖಾತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತಾಪ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಪಿಎಂಎನ್‌ಆರ್‌ಎಫ್‌ನಿಂದ ತಲಾ 2 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಆಡಳಿತವು ಜೆಸಿಬಿ ಬಳಸಿ ಮೃತದೇಹಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರತೆಗೆದು ಅವಶೇಷಗಳಡಿ ಸಿಲುಕಿದವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿತು. ಗೋಣಿ ಚೀಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪ್ಪು ತುಂಬುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಏಕಾಏಕಿ ಗೋಡೆ ಕುಸಿದಿದ್ದು, 20ರಿಂದ 30 ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಸಮಾಧಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಭೀತಿ ಎದುರಾಗಿದೆ. ಸದ್ಯ 12 ಸಾವು ದೃಢಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
